My name is Gloria Nieto, but everyone calls me Glori. I am organized, hardworking, outgoing and in love with the fashion industry. I am a few months away from completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising & Retail Marketing at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. I will be graduating in November 2014.
I am from a small island in the Caribbean called Puerto Rico. I grew up learning and enjoying everything about my culture, until I moved away to study my passion in the United States.
I speak Spanish as a first language, English and have a vast knowledge of French. I like being involved and taking on tasks and responsibilities. Currently I am the treasurer for my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma.
I have had many opportunities in the fashion industry including working for over a year with Styleweek Northeast in Providence and Boston, and traveling as a buyer to NYC for trade shows. I look forward to my arrival in Milan.
