Si è svolto dal 23 al 25 settembre Rock in Rio, a Jacarepagua nella parte Ovest di Rio de Janeiro. Un evento musicale enorme che attrae sui suoi tre palchi: Palco Mundo, Sunset e Electronica, moltissimi cantanti internazionali. Il primo giorno ha visto le esibizioni di Rihanna, Katy Perry e Elton John mentre il 24 settembre sono saliti sul palco gli Snow Patrol e i Red Hot Chili Peppers. L’ultimo giorno gli show live dei Metallica, Slipknot e i Motorhead.
Tra qualche giorno, il 29 settembre, i concerti riprenderanno e si aspettano Jamiroquai, Ke$ha, Stevie Wonder, Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, i Maron 5, i Coldplay, System of a Down, Evanescence e i Guns N’ Roses.
